The kufiya, also known as keffiyeh, hatta, or shemagh, is a traditional Palestinian scarf with deep cultural and political roots. Originally worn by farmers and Bedouins as protection from sun, wind, and sand, it became a global symbol of unity, resistance, and solidarity in the 20th century.
Craftsmanship from Nablus and social impact:
This kufiya is handcrafted on traditional looms in a manufactory in Nablus, Palestine. A two-layer weaving technique is used, giving the kufiya its structure, density, and premium feel.
