The Kufiya, also known as Keffiyeh, Hatta, or Shemagh, is a traditional Palestinian scarf with deep cultural and political roots. The classic black and white pattern gained international recognition through Yasser Arafat.

I have so many emotions with obtaining one - but I'm mainly thankful and grateful. This is an inspiration and testament to the Palestinian people and I'm proud to own it. I love wearing scarves - I own a lot of Kashmiri pashmina (another marginalized people in the subcontinent) as well and wear them with pride. Hence, purchasing a keffiyeh was a no brainer to me. I contacted customer service about my order when it hadn't yet shipped and they were prompt, kind and extremely responsive. If you want to support the Palestinian cause, I would purchase it.
